Notes and Neurons

Poster designed for event titled Notes and Neurons. Concept based on incorporating the word "auditory" into the design solution. I focused on the different sounds that music forms and how these sounds link together. By using ribbon I illustrated the connectivity of the sounds to make a complete piece of music.
Part two of this project involved making a series of posters, meant to exploit the additional possibilities that is inherent in making a series. The images shown here are preliminary sketches. The concept is that while only four printing plates are being used, the combinations that can be created by using four different elements are many. Much like the music that the lecture refers to, these posters can be configured to reveal a variety of textures and patterns.
